COURSE OBJECTIVES
The Loft Academy courses are intended to train licensed stylists interested in building their confidence, speed, neatness, and accuracy in core salon skills and advanced techniques in color and cutting. Over the courses offered, stylists will learn how to manage time properly, find their own solutions to challenges, develop an understanding of how head/face shape and skin tones and eye color effect end results. And stylists receive constant coaching on ways to improve. Client consultation and retention skills are a major factor in The Loft Academy curriculum. The work is done in a real salon setting, and stylists work on a combination of mannequins and/or live models.
We welcome licensed stylists from all backgrounds. The Loft Academy is an AVEDA exclusive salon environment focusing on hair care and color. Knowledge of AVEDA isn't a requirement; we are happy to coach you on anything you'll need to know about the products we use. Stylists will learn ways to recommend home maintenence for the guest, create great retailing habits, and take steps to building a bigger ticket through add-ons.
